Data Engineering · Azure & Microsoft Fabric
Microsoft Fabric Data Engineer (DP-700) prep
Build modern data platforms with Azure & Microsoft Fabric
Start from SQL and Python, then build pipelines with Data Factory, process data at scale with Databricks and Spark, and land it in Delta Lake and Fabric lakehouses the way enterprise teams do.

Hands-on in Microsoft Fabric
Real ingestion scenarios, end to end
The Fabric module is built around the scenarios data engineers hit on real projects. Alongside these you build mini projects and capstone projects across Azure and Fabric.
Step 01
APIs into the lakehouse
Copy data from a REST API into a Fabric Lakehouse using bearer-token authentication, and move folders over from ADLS Gen2.
Step 02
On-premises SQL Server to Fabric
Ingest from on-premises SQL Server through the data gateway, into a Lakehouse and incrementally into a Warehouse.
Step 03
Dynamic multi-table loads
Copy many tables from Azure SQL Database into the Lakehouse with one parameterized, dynamic pipeline.
Step 04
Logged, end-to-end pipelines
Log pipeline runs to a Warehouse table with stored procedures, and tie it together with Data Factory pipelines and Dataflows Gen2.
Who it's for
Built for people moving into data engineering
Database engineers
Move beyond traditional RDBMS into Azure SQL, Synapse, and Fabric Lakehouse.
Big data / Hadoop engineers
Upskill into Azure Databricks, Delta Lake, and Fabric pipelines.
ETL / data warehouse engineers
Design scalable pipelines with Azure Data Factory and Fabric Dataflows.
Application programmers
Work with streaming data and analytics.
Test engineers
Transition into high-growth data engineering roles on Azure.
Data analysts / Power BI developers
Step into end-to-end engineering and automation with Fabric.
Fresh graduates with an interest in cloud and data can join too: we start from fundamentals and build step by step.
